Francisco obtained his degree in Physiotherapy from Dalhousie University, after studying Biology and Psychology. He has also obtained a diploma from Uppsala University, Sweden in international health care development. Francisco has undergone continuing education in sports therapy, acupuncture, orthopaedics, golf injuries and ergonomics.
Francisco is actively involved in the mountain biking community, both as a therapist and as a participant, including his commitment as an instructor for the Canadian Mountain Biking Instructor Certification Program (CMIC). Francisco has also worked extensively with the New Westminster Hyacks football program, United Rugby club, as well as the Douglas College athletics program. He has pursued additional training in golf injury through the Titleist Performance Institute and Fit Fore Golf.
