Amanda holds a Master of Science in Physiotherapy from McMaster University. Prior to that, she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University with a focus in Active Health and Rehabilitation. She has completed Level One of the Advanced Orthopaedic Physiotherapy Program with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
Amanda was born and raised in New Westminster. She always led an active lifestyle, participating in numerous sports while growing up and competing at a provincial level. Amanda dedicated many hours to rehabilitation following various sport-related injuries. She has experience working with individuals of all ages and abilities, in addition to volunteering as an athletic trainer for local football and lacrosse teams.
Amanda’s treatment style focuses on personalized exercise prescription, education, and manual therapy. She utilizes a client-centered and evidence-based approach to help patients return to the activities that they love.
Outside of the clinic, Amanda enjoys spending quality time with family and friends in addition to staying active through various outdoor activities, fitness classes, and yoga.
