** IMPORTANT UPDATE ** Effective July 1st, 2021, masks currently remain mandatory at Trailside Physio due to the close contact nature of appointments. This policy will be re-evaluated in the coming months. Thank you for your compliance, understanding and most importantly for keeping our staff and patients safe.
*** Please review our appointment requirements below as they have been recently updated:***
COVID19 Screening:
- Prior to appointments clients should take the COVID19 self assessment at https://bc.thrive.health If the results indicate the need to be tested or isolated, clients MUST cancel their appointment. There will be no fees for cancellations due to illness. Clients must advise if they are experiencing any symptoms.
- Staff will also screen all patients for COVID19 at the door when they arrive (patients no longer have to submit a questionnaire online).
Appointment Reminders:
- Time: Plan to arrive 5 minutes ahead of your scheduled appointment, proceed to the clinic and wait outside the main door. The therapist or our admin staff will come to the door to retrieve you when ready.
- Clothing: We ask clients to arrive in comfortable, short sleeved clothing appropriate for exercise and movement and to keep hands and wrists free of jewellery and watches to ensure proper hand washing can occur.
- Masks & PPE: Masks remain mandatory in our clinic for both staff and patients. Staff may choose to include gloves or other PPE based on individual circumstances.
- Hand Washing: It is mandatory for all to wash hands upon arrival & prior to leaving. It is acceptable for clients to sanitize on their way out in place of hand washing.
- Food, Drink & Personal Items: please do not bring in food or beverages, small water bottles are permitted; please bring minimal personal items into the clinic
- Number of People: We will be gradually increasing the number of people allowed in the clinic and the appointment duration times if necessary. Patients are still asked to enter the clinic alone unless they are a minor (requiring an adult), need mobility assistance or a translator. Visitors are expected to abide by COVID19 screening just as patients and staff are.
- Cleaning & Sanitization: We will continue to sanitize all high & low touch surfaces between each appointment and multiple times through the day.
- Contactless Payments and Forms: We continue to use contactless payments and forms; if you are unable to use these methods we will accommodate
Due to the ever-changing requirements for businesses and health professionals, our protocols could change at any time. We will endeavour to keep our website updated and our patients informed to the best of our ability. Thank you for your support and patience during this time.
