NOTE: Teresa will be on maternity leave as of October 16, 2017. We wish you well Teresa!
Teresa joined the Trailside team in January 2010 after graduating from the University of Alberta with a Masters degree in Physical Therapy. Prior to completing her Physical Therapy certification, she acquired a Bachelor of Human Kinetics degree from the University of British Columbia.
Since working as a Physiotherapist, Teresa has completed post-graduate training in Advanced Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy, Injury Prevention as well as Sports First Aid. Teresa holds a personal interest in lower extremity injuries, particularly the foot and ankle complex.
Outside of the clinic, Teresa has volunteered countless hours with local sports teams in the community. She has spent time with both the Pitt Meadows & Terry Fox High School Football Teams, as well as the Coquitlam Jr. A Adanac’s Lacrosse Team. As team therapist for the Adanacs, Teresa helped the team to a Minto Cup win in the 2010 season; she also travelled to Calgary and Toronto with the team for the 2011 & 2012 Minto Cup Championships. Last year Teresa, along with other Trailside co-workers, became a part of the therapy staff for the Vancouver Stealth Lacrosse Team. She looks forward to starting her 2nd season with the Stealth for the upcoming 2014/2015 season.
